(Agatized Coral, With Corallites Showing Throughout)
'Atlantis The Great’
This Agatized Coral was given to us by an old octopus from the Atlantic Ocean.
The story he told was passed down from his great-great grandfather about a planet that passed by our earth some 24,000 years ago.
As the story goes, the people of Atlantis felt a great trembling of the earth, and the waters began to churn. As they looked to the sky many moons became apparent, and a huge purple planet appeared.
There was no escape, and their demise was inevitable.
His grandfather, (being a kind-hearted-soul in favor of this great city) extended his arms (not tentacles, as octopus do not actually have tentacles) in an attempt to hold onto this great piece of land.
He held as tightly as he could as the earth began to sink into the ocean beneath him.
After much time had passed his grandfather looked to find that the great city had perished, and all that remained were 8 stones that he held.
He had clung onto the land so tightly that he had created permanent impressions into the stones.
These being the only remaining pieces of a once great and thriving city.
